Privacy Policy

This page explains what data [LEGAL NAME] processes when you use Metryn, and why. We keep this to what the Service actually needs to run and stay secure.

What we process

• The URL / domain you submit for scanning.
• Your IP address, used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• The technical result of the scan (score and findings).
• Identifiers needed to reconcile a Paddle transaction with your scan (a transaction id and the scan id), so the correct report unlocks after payment.
• Standard technical/server information needed for security and operational logging (e.g. request timestamps, error diagnostics).

What we don't do

• We never see or store your card details — payment is handled entirely by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record.
• We do not persist the full HTML of any site we scan.
• Findings store only short technical evidence snippets, not page content.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use any cookies or analytics trackers beyond what is described here.

Retention

We keep scan and payment records only for as long as needed to provide the Service (so you and Paddle can retrieve your report and transaction) and to meet security and legal obligations. We do not retain data longer than necessary for those purposes.

Payments

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders and handles payment processing, taxes, and receipts. See Paddle's privacy policy for how they process your payment data.
