For online stores
Is the price in your product data the same as on the page?
Google compares the price and stock it has for a product with what the product page shows, and a mismatch can get the product disapproved in Merchant Center. A price that only appears after a script runs can cause it too. Store owners hit this a lot and the error message rarely says which page or which value.
Paste a product page and run the scan. The free result counts what it found about the product data. The full report shows the price, currency and availability in the structured data next to what the page itself says. It can't always tell, for example when a size or colour picker changes the price, and when it can't it says so instead of guessing. It works on Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix or a hand-built shop, because it only looks at what the web address returns.
What the free scan looks at
- On a product page: how many product-data findings there are. The full report lists them and compares price, currency and availability with the page.
- Whether robots.txt lets the main AI and search crawlers in, named one by one.
- Whether the page can be indexed, and which canonical address it names.
- Whether a sitemap exists and robots.txt points to it.
- What structured data (JSON-LD) is in the page as it is first served.
- Whether the request was refused by a robots rule, a bot challenge or a password wall.
The scan runs from our servers, so it can't see a firewall rule that only affects other networks. It reads one URL at a time, and it never sees your Merchant Center feed, only the page side of the comparison. The methodology page lists the checks and their limits.
What it can't do
It can't make ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google recommend your store, and neither can anyone else. No operator publishes how products get chosen, so we don't pretend to know. The score is an estimate of technical readiness, the part you control. It is not a prediction of traffic, rankings, citations or sales. This tool evaluates technical AI search readiness. It does not guarantee indexing, rankings, citations, recommendations, traffic, or revenue.

- What an AI assistant needs from a product page
A product page read without scripts: which facts must be in the first HTML response, a worked JSON-LD example, and how to test your own page in a minute.
- Copied supplier text makes product pages alike
Why pages built from the supplier's text give Google and AI systems nothing to tell them apart, and a realistic way to fix the ones that matter.
- Can ChatGPT or Perplexity recommend my store?
An honest answer: no tool can promise it. Here are the technical preconditions you can actually measure, and what none of them guarantees.
- Password pages and firewalls that block crawlers
The ways a store ends up closed to crawlers without anyone deciding it: private mode, firewall bot rules, an edited robots.txt, and how to find which one it is.
- Duplicate product URLs: collections and variants
How one product ends up with several addresses through collections and variants, what Google says about choosing one, and how to check what your theme links to.
- A ten-minute monthly check for your online store
A short routine for store owners: robots.txt, sitemap, one product page and a private window. What to look at, what to write down, and what it can't tell you.
Older guides on dropshipping stores, product pages and Shopify robots.txt and sitemap are still current.
