Changelog
What changed in Metryn
Changes to the scanner, the score and the report that are live. Minor copy fixes are not listed. The scoring rules themselves are on the methodology page.
Report price set to €5.99
The complete report is a one-time payment of €5.99, with no subscription. The free scan is unchanged.
Scoring: partial crawler access no longer costs points
A crawler marked partial means the scanned page itself is allowed, but the same robots.txt group blocks other paths on the site. That is normal for sites with an API or account area, so it is now reported without a score penalty. Blocked crawlers still cost points. Our own site went from 74 to 93 on that change alone.
Four agent-readability checks added, none of them scored
The scanner now reports whether a Markdown alternate is declared, whether the page answers Accept: text/markdown, how much of the content depends on JavaScript, and whether /llms.txt exists. These practices are emerging and not standardised, so they never change the score.
Two bugs on our own homepage found by our own scan, and fixed
A duplicated title suffix and a title and description that were missing from the head on most requests. The site was fixed; no scoring rule was changed to improve the result.
